Job Summary 

This position supports the U.S. corporate income tax team by compiling tax data, preparing compliance workpapers, entering information into tax software, performing reconciliations, and assisting with federal, state, and international tax return processes. The role is intended to be process-oriented and focused on accurate data collection, organization, and input rather than technical tax research, judgment-based analysis, or complex tax position development. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collect, organize, and maintain tax compliance data and support documentation. 

• Extract financial data from Oracle and other source systems using established instructions or reports. 

• Input tax data into ONESOURCE and other tax software applications. 

• Prepare draft federal, state, and international tax return schedules for review. 

• Assist with U.S. corporate income tax return preparation, including Form 1120 and related schedules. 

• Assist with international information return preparation, including Forms 5471 and 8858. 

• Prepare account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and standard compliance workpapers. 

• Maintain tax calendars, filing trackers, status logs, and electronic return files. 

• Gather information requested by internal stakeholders, auditors, and external advisors. 

• Review workpapers and data inputs for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with established templates. 

• Support special projects, data requests, and process improvement efforts as directed. 

Required Qualifications & Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

• 1-5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, shared services, outsourcing, or a related support function. 

• Experience working with Oracle ERP is strongly preferred. 

• Experience with ONESOURCE Tax software is highly preferred. 

• Experience supporting preparation of U.S. corporate income tax returns, including Form 1120, preferred. 

• Experience supporting preparation of Forms 5471 and 8858 preferred. 

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filtering, and working with large data sets. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 

• Ability to follow established processes, templates, and instructions. 

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines. 

• Ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based tax team members and external advisors. 

• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable performing recurring compliance support tasks. 

Preferred Skills 

• Experience in tax compliance support, shared services, or outsourcing environment. 

• Familiarity with U.S. corporate income tax compliance processes. 

• Comfortable gathering, formatting, and validating financial data for tax return preparation. 

• Process-oriented, detail-focused, and consistent in following standard workpaper procedures. 

• Able to work across time zones and coordinate with a U.S.-based tax team.
