Job description & summary: PwC India is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Manager to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of SAP TM solutions for global clients. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP TM, experience leading consulting engagements, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while delivering high-quality business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementation, rollout, and support projects.
Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into scalable SAP TM solutions.
Design and configure SAP TM processes, including:
Freight Order Management
Freight Settlement
Transportation Planning and Optimization
Carrier Selection and Tendering
Charge Management
Transportation Execution
Integrate SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP GTS, and third-party logistics systems.
Lead workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, and user acceptance activities.
Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
Mentor and guide consultants, ensuring delivery excellence and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with client leadership to define digital supply chain transformation strategies.
Support business development by contributing to proposals, solution presentations, and client demonstrations.
Ensure adherence to PwC's quality standards, governance processes, and project methodologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
8–12 years of SAP consulting experience, with at least 5 years specializing in SAP Transportation Management.
Hands-on experience in multiple end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects.
Strong understanding of transportation and logistics business processes.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience leading consulting teams and managing project deliveries.

RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
ALV, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts
BAPI, RFC, IDoc, Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits
CDS Views, AMDP, OData, SAP Gateway
SAP S/4HANA development and performance optimization
SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, RAP (preferred)
Preferred Skill sets
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integrations.
Knowledge of SAP Event Management and SAP EWM integration.
Familiarity with Fiori applications and SAP Activate methodology.
Experience working in Agile project environments.
SAP TM Certification is highly preferred.
Exposure to global logistics and supply chain operations.

4-7 Years
Education Qualification
3–16 years of SAP ABAP experience.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects is preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
SAP certification is an added advantage.
