Sobre esta vaga de ICT/Telecom na Teecom
TEECOM hires by discipline, not by open requisition. We are growing — multiple teams across the US, UK, and India are actively hiring to grow their teams.
When you apply here, you are applying to TEECOM for a role in ICT/Telecom. Rather than interviewing for a single posted role, you will go through a structured Discipline Assessment that establishes your level and demonstrated capability. Once your level is determined, TEECOM's recruiting and leadership teams match your profile to the best available opening on a team that fits your skills, experience, and goals.
Roles span Designer II through Principal, Senior Consultant. Your level — and your title — are determined by your assessment, not by the role you apply to.
If you have meaningful experience in more than one discipline, apply to your primary discipline and tell your recruiter about your secondary discipline(s) during your Introduction Call. You may be scheduled for a separate Discipline Assessment for each one.
ICT/Telecom at TEECOM
TEECOM's ICT/Telecom practice designs and documents the telecommunications and structured cabling infrastructure that connects buildings, campuses, and organizations. Our clients span a wide and growing range of industries and facility types across the US, UK, and India.
Work spans structured cabling systems (copper and fiber), outside plant infrastructure, distributed antenna systems (DAS), public safety radio coverage, passive optical networks, and other low-voltage communications infrastructure. ICT/Telecom designers at TEECOM work across the full project lifecycle — from concept design and basis of design through construction documents, specifications, and construction administration. You will collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, IT teams, and construction managers to deliver coordinated, buildable technology infrastructure drawings.
At more senior levels, you will lead design decisions, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and help grow TEECOM's ICT/Telecom practice.
What We're Looking For
We hire at all levels — the strongest ICT/Telecom candidates are proactive, curious about how infrastructure actually gets built, and take ownership of producing documents that contractors can follow without guessing.
If you don’t have everything on this list yet, that’s expected — TEECOM develops people through structured documentation, mentorship, and real project work.
- Experience designing structured cabling systems (copper and fiber) across a range of facility types and industries
- Familiarity with BICSI standards, TIA/EIA cabling standards, and applicable low-voltage code requirements (NFPA 70, local codes)
- Ability to read and produce construction documents — floor plans, riser diagrams, details, and specification sections
- Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD for technology systems documentation
- Understanding of outside plant infrastructure, including conduit routing, manholes, and fiber optic systems — preferred
- Experience with DAS design or public safety radio systems (NFPA 72, IFC) — preferred
- BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification — preferred
- PE license (electrical preferred) — preferred
- Ability to manage your own work independently across multiple concurrent projects
*TEECOM covers exam fees and study materials for certifications relevant to your discipline, pays a one-time bonus when you pass, and funds all continuing education — including conference attendance.
TEECOM is a fully remote consulting firm. We hire across all US states, the UK, and India. Our projects span the globe — some roles involve international travel, so share your comfort level with your recruiter.
