What You'll Do

As an Icelandic-speaking Content Moderator, you'll help create a safer online experience for millions of social media users.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing videos, images, comments and other online content in Icelandic.
• Identifying content that violates community guidelines.
• Removing, flagging or escalating inappropriate content.
• Ensuring content follows platform policies and safety standards.
• Helping maintain a positive and respectful online community.
• Working alongside an international team in a fast-paced digital environment.

Important: Some content may be sensitive or disturbing, so being able to handle challenging material professionally is an essential part of this role.

Requirements

• Fluent Icelandic (C2 level) and good English skills (B2 or higher).
• An interest in social media, digital platforms and online trends.
• Good attention to detail and strong decision-making skills.
• The ability to follow guidelines and work independently.
• A mature and responsible approach to sensitive content.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Willingness to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal.
• EU citizenship or valid permission to work in Portugal.

Previous experience in content moderation is an advantage, but not essential. Training will be provided!
