About the Role

IBOR Operations sits at the center of the data pipeline — reconciling custodian, trading, and book-of-record data every day to ensure clients see accurate holdings, transactions, and tax lots. This is a hands-on operations role for someone who wants to build strong reconciliation and investment-product expertise while working closely with Engineering and Product to improve and automate the process.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily reconciliation of positions and cash across systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies within required deadlines.
• Distinguish genuine data errors from expected, explainable differences so that only real issues get escalated.
• Process and validate corporate actions, and clear any related reconciliation breaks.
• Handle other daily and firm-specific operational tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor data readiness and volumes, flagging anomalies proactively rather than after they are noticed downstream.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to convert recurring manual issues into tooling improvements, helping prioritize work by severity and impact.
• Support and use internal reconciliation tools to move the team toward a more exception-driven, automated workflow.
• Clearly document and communicate the root cause of issues to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of reconciliation fundamentals — comparing data across multiple sources and identifying root causes.
• Working knowledge of investment products across equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
• Good understanding of corporate actions and how they affect systems and data, and how timing differences between sources can create reconciliation discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership of daily deadlines, and clear written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with daily service-level deadlines.

Nice to Have

• SQL or other data-querying skills to independently investigate issues.
• Familiarity with using AI-assisted tools to support data analysis or workflow automation.
• Prior experience with custodial data feeds, portfolio accounting systems, or trade order management systems.
