Join our team of HRBP's who work closely with business leaders across the Broughton Plant. We support a variety of business and function areas while driving our People Strategy. We're looking for two interns, to work in two different positions within HR, who are eager to learn about HR including generalist activities and projects.

For the first role, you will have the opportunity to work within our Broughton HR team, learning about our key people initiatives and collaborating with the business to drive performance and change.

For our second role, you will be working within our Broughton HR Business Partner team, learning about our key people initiatives and working with the business to drive performance and change. You'll be involved in projects and will also assist with daily HR tasks, ranging from Inclusion and Diversity to Sickness Absence Management.

What you will be doing:

As an HR Intern you will gain vast experience in many aspects of HR, including day to day tasks like:

• Sickness absence management; 

• Communication & engagement; 

• Recruitment, talent & succession planning;

• Acquire an overview of the whole HR department. 

You will get the opportunity to work on projects that secure the future skills and talent for Broughton Plant and ensure we embrace change in a sustainable way.  

As the HR Intern you will develop skills in communication, project management, prioritisation of tasks and also knowledge of HR processes and ways of working.

Requirements:

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Studying towards a degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related subjects;

• Knowledge using Google Suite tools;

• Interpret and analyse data;

• The ability to listen, understand and communicate information;

• An eagerness to learn and develop yourself;

• Work well within a team;

• An interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems; 

• The ability to organise and manage multiple tasks within strict time constraints;

• Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
