Bring your energy to Aggreko as HSE Specialist, based in Chiba, Japan. This role is responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of Aggreko's Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy across the businesses and operations within Japan.

What you’ll do as HSE Specialist - Japan:

• Lead the implementation of regional HSE strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements within Japan.
• Manage risk assessment, incident investigations, assurance programs, and corrective actions to strengthen safety performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on health, safety, environmental, and sustainability outcomes across operations.
• Oversee emissions management by measuring, monitoring, and reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions through targeted efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, leading internal and external audits and ensuring effective closure of findings.
• Provide QHSE leadership for projects and operations, including performance reporting, tender support, emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity planning.
  

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5-10 years of proven Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) experience.
• Strong knowledge of regional HSE regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience supporting sustainability initiatives, including Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions measurement, reporting, and reduction programs.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, including implementation, auditing, and certification requirements.
• Willing and able to travel regularly across Japan and support the growth of operations throughout North Asia.
• Bilingual professional with native-level Japanese and fluent English communication skills, capable of working effectively in a regional environment.
