Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced School HR Recruiter / HR Recruitment Executive to manage end-to-end recruitment for academic and non-academic positions across the school. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of education-sector recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, academic leadership, administrative, and support staff positions.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
• Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, Naukri, job portals, employee referrals, social media, recruitment agencies, and professional networks.
• Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements, qualifications, experience, and school standards.
• Conduct initial HR screening interviews and coordinate technical/academic interviews with Principals, Academic Directors, and Department Heads.
• Manage recruitment for CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, Cambridge, IB/PYP, and other international curriculum roles.
• Recruit teachers for subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Computer Science, Languages, and Early Years/PYP.
• Handle recruitment for Principals, Coordinators, Heads of Department, Vice Principals, Special Educators, Counsellors, Administrators, and support staff.
• Maintain and update the candidate database, recruitment tracker, interview status, and manpower requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, demo classes, assessments, reference checks, background verification, and selection processes.
• Prepare and release offer letters, coordinate salary negotiations, and ensure timely joining.
• Coordinate pre-employment documentation, onboarding, induction, and joining formalities.
• Work closely with school leadership and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source of hire, candidate pipeline, offer-to-joining ratio, and recruitment closure.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future school vacancies.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies and external consultants when required.
• Ensure compliance with school recruitment policies, employment regulations, qualification requirements, and background verification procedures.
• Support employee engagement, HR operations, and other HR activities as required.

• Strong Talent Acquisition and Recruitment skills.
• Experience in School / Education Recruitment preferred.
• Excellent candidate sourcing and screening abilities.
• Strong knowledge of job portals and LinkedIn recruitment.
• Good understanding of teaching qualifications and international school recruitment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong interview coordination and candidate relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment deadlines.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, HRMS/ATS, and recruitment trackers.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Experience in school, education, international school, or academic recruitment will be an advantage.
• Candidates with strong experience in teacher recruitment and education-sector hiring are preferred.
