Laundryheap is a global on-demand laundry and dry-cleaning company operating across the UK, India, Singapore, Dubai, France and Slovenia. Our People team keeps a fast-growing, multi-country business running smoothly. We're looking for an HR Associate to be the operational engine behind it.

Reporting to HR Ops, you'll own the day-to-day, high-volume work that makes HR run: onboarding, offboarding, lifecycle admin, payroll support, reporting, and HR and office coordination.

What you'll do

Onboarding

• Own onboarding from offer acceptance through Day 1, so every new hire has a smooth, well-documented start
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition, who handle documentation and background verification up to the offer
• Track post-offer BGV completion and escalate discrepancies to the relevant manager, keeping HR Ops informed
• Coordinate ID cards, WeWork parking and card access with IT and facilities
• Collect salary, bank, PF and UAN details from new joiners for processing
• Compile onboarding and 30-day feedback data for HR Ops to review and act on

Offboarding

• Run the offboarding process end-to-end on HiBob for standard exits
• Draft experience letters and responses to post-exit queries, with all communication reviewed by HR Ops before release
• Coordinate PF/UAN and bank-detail updates as part of each exit

Employee lifecycle

• Process and maintain probation confirmation records on HiBob
• Keep all lifecycle documentation accurately uploaded and maintained

Engagement and communication

• Distribute HR announcements and reminders
• Own the logistics and on-ground execution of engagement events, including vendors and volunteers

Reporting and data governance

• Be the custodian of data accuracy across HR systems and reporting
• Compile data for MIS, HRIS, engagement reports and the monthly HR Ops dashboard
• Track vendor invoices and expense documentation, escalating discrepancies to Finance
• Maintain accurate leave balances and data hygiene across trackers and HiBob

Payroll support

• Compile monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, joiners and exits) for HR Ops review
• Process bank, PF and UAN changes for existing employees and make sure they reach payroll

Employee queries

• Be the first point of contact for the HR inbox on leave, policy and general HR questions
• Route anything involving pay, salary changes, full-and-final settlement or insurance to HR Ops

Office and facilities

• Manage day-to-day office upkeep with housekeeping and vendors
• Own WeWork coordination, including parking, card access and meeting rooms

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years in HR operations, HR shared services or HR admin
• Experience with HiBob or a similar HRIS, and payroll tools
• Comfort with high-volume, deadline-driven work across onboarding, offboarding and multiple stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, especially with PF, UAN, bank and other compliance-sensitive data
• Clear, professional written communication
• A bachelor's degree (HR specialisation preferred, not essential)
