Job Summary:

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician - Relay will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards. The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and control systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with electrical components and wiring systems.

Job Duties:

• Assemble relay panels, control panels, and electrical enclosures per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Mount electrical components including relays, switches, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, PLCs, and associated hardware.
• Verify proper installation and labeling of components.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Assist with packaging, shipping preparation, and inventory management as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure on-time project completion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of electrical assembly, panel building, or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical components, control systems, and relay logic.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and production tracking.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
• Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
• Ability to stoop and bend required
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
• Excellent manual dexterity required
