What’s the role

This position will be accountable for Industrial Lubricants business in the prioritized focus and growth in China. Key purpose of the role is to develop in B2B heavy industrial sectors including Power, Mining, Metal as sector marketing manager and to drive B2B gear oil portfolio as product manager, to co-work with sales, ICE, technical and more functional teams on the qualified strategy and E2E delivery. 

 

What you’ll be doing

• Build up long / mid / near term market intelligence and business strategy in focused sectors including Traditional Power, Wind Power, Mining and Metal, co-work with functional teams to drive sector-oriented initiatives, focus on KA penetration, major projects win, and main application / portfolio development. 
• Overall product management for gear oil (Omala brand) portfolio, to drive cross-teams portfolio growth, to build up E2E product development process by engaging global and local resources, meanwhile, to support relevant service solutions based on the target applications and customers 
• Proactively plan, monitor and deliver service business and growth targets. Be accountable to support sales team for the pipeline conversion from the existing prospect list. 
• Solid plans executing and tracking, keep the regular review process with stakeholders to ensure the target delivery. 

 

What you bring

• University degree plus 8+ years of frontline marketing / sales / application / service experience with complex customers with a proven track record. 

• Highly entrepreneurial in nature, continuously exploring new opportunities to maximize returns in a challenging a highly competitive market environment.  

• Being a successful business hunter with strong marketing skills. Track record of value delivery based on challenger behaviors and by applying value creation techniques & tools. 

• Strong commercial mindset and enhanced interpersonal and communications skills. 

• In depth marketing & product knowledge of Lubricants and its applications in the major B2B industry sectors and specific customer needs. Proven ability to trouble shooting and solve customer problems by generating value adding solutions.         

• Proven track record on integration and collaboration across organizations and cross functions. Ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders / partners. 

• Working virtually with heavy travel. 
• Fluent business English skills. Native Chinese speaker.

Changbei Project produced 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2008, contributing a green 2008 Beijing Olympics. The production reached 3.3 billion in 2009 and continued for 12 consecutive years. This annual production of Changbei amounts 17% of the natural gas supply of Beijing in 2019.

• the world-class CSPC (CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited ) is one of the largest Sino-foreign petrochemical joint ventures in China.
