Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Health & Well-Being Coordinator to help shape and advance a culture of health and well-being for faculty and staff across our campuses and remote work environments.

The Health & Well-Being Coordinator will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive employee well-being strategy encompassing physical, mental, financial, social, and preventive well-being. The position will also help employees better understand and navigate university-sponsored health benefits and resources while partnering with benefit vendors to increase engagement, improve healthcare utilization, and strengthen the overall employee experience.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Shape our well-being strategy by leading annual planning, establishing priorities, and developing meaningful measures of success.

• Create programs employees value across mental health, financial wellness, physical activity, nutrition, preventive care, and social connection.

• Connect employees with resources by helping faculty and staff understand and effectively use available health benefits, programs, and healthcare resources.

• Turn data into action by identifying population health trends and opportunities to improve care quality, access, affordability, and employee engagement.

• Build engagement across our community by developing strategies that reach employees across campuses and remote locations and creating a network of wellness champions.

• Bring well-being to life through communication by developing clear, actionable content for email, intranet, newsletters, webinars, and other digital channels.

• Create engaging experiences through wellness challenges, workshops, webinars, campaigns, and other employee-focused events.

• Build strong partnerships by working closely with university stakeholders and external benefit and wellness partners.

• Measure our impact by tracking participation, engagement, and program outcomes and translating results into meaningful executive reporting.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health promotion, public health, wellness, human resources, benefits administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.

• Experience developing, coordinating, or supporting employee wellness, health promotion, benefits, or population health programs.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate health and benefits information into clear, engaging, and actionable employee communications.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple programs, initiatives, events, and partnerships simultaneously.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use participation, engagement, utilization, and other program data to identify trends and opportunities.

• Ability to build collaborative relationships with employees, university stakeholders, healthcare partners, and external vendors.

• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting employee well-being or benefits programs within a large, multi-location organization.

• Experience working with health plans, wellness vendors, employee assistance programs, or other health and well-being partners.

• Experience developing wellness campaigns, challenges, workshops, webinars, or employee education programs.

• Experience analyzing population health, benefits utilization, engagement, or program outcome data.

• Knowledge of emerging practices and trends in employee health, well-being, and benefits engagement.
