The Opportunity

We are looking for a Health and Safety (H&S) specialist to become part of our HSE team at PGHV factory in Sevlievo, Bulgaria. In this role you will work both operationally in the production and strategically with key initiatives to improve the Health and Safety culture within the business unit.  As an H&S Specialist, your main responsibility will be to ensure support to our operations that they are compliant with all internal and external policies and regulations with focus on health and safety.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Develops and implement policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace.;
• Provides advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to employee health and safety;
• Investigates accidents and liaises with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence;
• Organizes and participates in the risk assessment process;
• Develops and conducts training in his own area of expertise;
• Develops, implements, monitors and reviews all documents and data related to Safety and Health at work;
• Conducts regular inspections on the workplace to verify compliance to the health and safety rules and regulations;
• Ensures compliance with international standards in ISO 45001 systems and all other applicable standards.

Your background:

• University degree in H&S or in similar field;
• Relevant experience as HSE professional;
• Advanced use of MS Office (MS Excell, MS, Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook);
• Experience with  ERP system (SAP is an advantage);
• Advanced English skills (both written and verbal);
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented team member.
