The Role

We're hiring a Head of Sales, Financial Services to build Centari's business in the private markets. You'll own new revenue with GPs and asset owners, banks, and LPs, and the playbook for how Centari grows its market share in this vertical.

This role is based in our New York office, with travel of up to 30%.

What You'll Own

• Revenue. You run the full sales cycle with GCs, CFOs, AI teams, and operating partners, from first conversation to signed engagement, and you personally source, structure, and close Centari's first deals with new ICPs in the private markets.

• Partnerships. Service providers and platforms that funds already rely on can open doors. You find the partners who can add the most leverage to our growth trajectory and turn their introductions into pipeline.

• The function itself. As the business grows, you'll have the room to shape how Centari serves the market and to grow with it.

What You Bring

• You've personally sourced and closed six to seven-figure deals with private markets buyers such as investment banks and funds. Come with a specific example: how you reached the decision maker, what the buyer needed to see, and what it took to get the deal done.

• 10+ years in or selling into private equity, private credit, investment banking, or management consulting, including enterprise sales of software, data, or information services to these segments. You bring real private markets relationships and the sales background to build new relationships quickly.

• The analytical rigor to size a segment, model a pricing change, and present a business case leadership can decide on.

• Executive presence with fund C-suite and investment professionals, and the discipline to run your own pipeline before there's a team under you.

• Nice to have: you've launched a product into a new market at an early-stage company.
