The Opportunity

As a Greensboro - Audit - Intern, you will engage in financial statement audits, gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices. Within our Assurance practice, you will support teams by participating in projects that enhance transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers a unique chance to observe and contribute to the auditing process, providing independent assessments that help clients focus on their business growth.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to professional work environments. You will support teams with basic tasks, conduct research, and participate in projects, all while developing your personal brand. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset, actively listening, and appreciating diverse perspectives. You will have the opportunity to gather information, analyze facts, and apply professional standards, all while upholding the firm's code of conduct.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits
- Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to validate accuracy and compliance
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies and accounting standards
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices
- Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to project goals
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal and professional skills
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and make informed recommendations
- Collaborating with team members to uphold transparency and integrity in financial reporting

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Chinese and English
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
