Job Description
What You Will Lead
- Set the performance agenda: Champion Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost—in that order—while making Innovation and People central to every decision.
- Build a world-class operating culture: Embed consistent safety, Lean, and continuous-improvement practices across all sites, targeting 90% EHS framework scores and full alignment with global DMS standards.
- Transform cost and footprint: Unlock sustainable savings through procurement, Lean operations, and logistics synergies, while executing expansion and capacity strategies with Global Real Estate and Finance.
- Strengthen logistics and localization: Elevate fulfillment performance and build strategic sourcing capabilities and supplier partnerships that increase resilience in an uncertain political environment.
- Enable service growth: Provide strong regional leadership for Order Management, service-parts planning, forecasting, and fulfillment to accelerate the Greater China service business.
- Advance order-management excellence: Lead Fulfillment, Inventory, S&OP, and Demo Operations, creating a connected communication hub powered by contemporary Lean and digital tools.
- Shape service operations strategy: Guide repair shops, remanufacturing, and parts strategy with Global Services and Logistics; deliver operational and financial targets, raise quality, and improve on-time parts fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Build an exceptional organization: Create clarity, coach leaders, and develop a high-performing team. Foster regional communities of practice across Lean, EHS, and Technology while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Turn insight into action: Use supply chain metrics to identify opportunities, accelerate improvement, and uphold legal requirements and CSR commitments.
- Connect China to global excellence: Partner with the Global Supply Chain Centre of Excellence to lead process and technology initiatives, including Kinaxis, logistics efficiencies, and AME actions.
- Accelerate automation and innovation: Work with Global AME leadership to establish and scale the Advanced Manufacturing & Technology Center (AMTC), bringing advanced automation and new capabilities to life.
- Represent the business externally: Build trusted relationships with local government to enable compliant operations and expansion, and drive a holistic approach to funding assessments and investments across segments.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership, ideally in regulated medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences manufacturing.
- A strong track record leading complex, multi-site supply chains and regulated manufacturing operations.
- Broad expertise across order management and fulfillment for services and equipment, procurement, logistics, Lean, and automation technologies.
- Demonstrated success reducing cost, strengthening resilience, and enabling profitable business growth.
- Credibility and experience leading site initiatives and engaging effectively with government stakeholders.
