The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Global Audit Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Oversee a global audit team of 10-12 auditors in a fast-learning environment to execute the annual Global Audit Plan.

• Support audit planning activities, including risk assessments, scoping, and resource planning for global audit engagements.

• Partner with the Global Audit Data Analytics team to leverage data-driven insights that enhance audit coverage and effectiveness.

• Provide day-to-day oversight, coaching, and guidance to audit teams of 10-12 to ensure high-quality output and consistent audit execution.

• Serve as the first-level reviewer of audit workpapers, ensuring audit conclusions are well-supported and comply with Internal Audit standards.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Identify control deficiencies, root causes, and business risks, and develop practical recommendations for improvement.

• Prepare and present audit findings and reports to management and business stakeholders.

• Monitor remediation activities and assess whether management actions adequately address identified risks.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization and provide risk, governance, and control advisory support.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and the use of technology and analytics within Internal Audit.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.

• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in audit/ internal controls, preferably with corporate and/or Big 4 accounting firm exposure.

• A highly motivated individual with demonstrated leadership attributes and problem-solving skills.

• Has strong communication and team collaboration skills.

• Possesses the drive to gain good knowledge and understanding of the Company's policies and procedures, process risks and controls.

• This position may include 25%-30% international travel, with the principle of safety first.

• Experience in SAP ERP will be an added advantage.
