$38.76 - $52.33The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
General Purpose: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.Part-time (24 hours) position available.
GI nurse opportunity in a fast-paced, growing outpatient endoscopy center. The position involves caring for procedure patients throughout all phases of care including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery. Applicant must enjoy being a part of a team of nurses, support staff, and highly skilled physicians affiliated with an academic medical center. The ideal candidate will have excellent IV and assessment skills, moderate sedation competency, and the ability to organize and prioritize care. Must have 3 years nursing experience and NYS license. GI experience preferred, but not required.
