Mō te tūranga | About the role

We’re on the hunt for 3 TMO (General Workers) to work in the TTM space for WDC patrol crews and TM crews ahead of the busy upcoming season.

These are hands-on roles suited to people who are physically fit and happy to get stuck into a mix of maintenance activities, with a strong focus on traffic control duties. You’ll work closely with the STMS in the crew, supporting as a TMO, pilot driver, and general team member where needed.

This is good work for someone who likes being part of a crew, enjoys practical outdoor work, and wants to continue to learn on the job. At Fulton Hogan, titles matter less than ideas and effort. We back our people to pitch in, work safely, and keep moving forward together.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Support the crew with mainly traffic control duties across patrol and TM activities.
• Undertake a mix of general maintenance and labouring activities as directed by your Foreperson, Supervisor, or crew leader.
• Work alongside the STMS as a wing-person in the crew, including supporting TMO and pilot driver duties where required.
• Take part in pre-starts, risk planning, and day-to-day site safety conversations.
• Help keep worksites safe, tidy, and running smoothly while following instructions and company processes.

• Physical fitness and a willingness to carry out the inherent requirements of a hands-on outdoor role.
• A practical mindset and the ability to support both maintenance tasks and traffic control duties.
• A strong safety focus, good attitude, and a reliable approach to work.
• The ability to listen, follow instructions, and work well as part of a crew.
• A Class 2 licence is a must, and W, T, R endorsements would be a great addition, and we can support you to secure these.
