What you get to do:

• Perform accounting tasks such as inputting requisitions, managing department checkbook, submitting check requests, submitting deposit forms, tracking spend comparable to budget, and performing monthly accruals.
• Provide administrative support for General Services Supervisors and Managers, including preparation and maintenance of master project agreements, contractor invoices, insurance documentation (CertFocus), contractor badge requests, and contractor pre-qualifications.
• Partner with General Services Leadership, Design & Engineering, and Local Finance team to determine appropriate accounting/timing of all requisitions.
• Compile, prepare, and track all accrual documents related to general services expenses.
• G/L entries, including analyzing and understanding supporting operational and financial records and accounts to ensure entries are posted correctly
• G/L account reconciliations, including analyzing supporting records, and following up on variances
• Assist in account payable/procurement research for the park, including good receipt timing, PO approvals and expense/capitalization classification
• Special projects and other duties as assigned
• Assist in Month-end process for General Services department through budget reconciliation, tracking of actual spend, and appropriate forecasting of future budget needs.

What it takes to succeed:

• Experience in procurement, contract administration, or finance preferred
• Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to track and reconcile multiple projects with detail and accuracy, including addressing tax issues.
• Proficient in calculating figures such as proportions, percentages, and applying concepts of algebra.
• Strong ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from team members, customers, regulatory agencies, or contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to ensure accurate follow-through on all aspects of contract compliance in accordance with corporate legal and capital project controls and procedures.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods in various weather conditions.
• Consistently practices safe work habits, including using personal protective equipment and lifting safety protocols.
• Willing to comply with all organizational grooming guidelines and employment standards.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a park license.

Compensation: $22 - $25 USD Hourly
