Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting activities in accordance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, unusual balances, and aged items.
- Monitor and record accruals in the appropriate accounting period.
- Review supporting information and validate accounting treatments and estimates.
- Manage prepayments and amortization activities.
- Execute period-end close activities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal and external service providers.
- Identify risks, issues, and process improvement opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support transition, integration, and standardization of accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support audit activities.
- Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare non-routine accounting entries and analyses as required.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in General Accounting or Financial Reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting requirements.
- Experience in a large or multinational organization preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial applications.
