As a GCP Architect - Senior Manager, you will lead the design and development of innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will leverage your skills to deliver exceptional user experiences and revolutionize industries. As a Senior Manager, you will guide large projects, applying strategic vision and technical acumen to deliver impactful results. You will engage with clients at a strategic level, providing valuable insights and driving project success.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on developing cutting-edge software solutions and driving product innovation to meet the evolving needs of clients. You will be responsible for building trust with multi-level teams and stakeholders, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. Responsibilities

- Leading the design and development of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
- Managing large-scale software engineering projects, confirming timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies into product development
- Overseeing the implementation of software development methodologies, including Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ to develop and test applications that deliver exceptional user experiences
- Driving business process improvement through strategic questioning and solution architecture
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored software solutions
- Coaching and mentoring teams to foster a culture of creativity and innovation in software engineering
- Validating software quality through rigorous testing and debugging processes
- Promoting the adoption of enterprise application architecture and integration to streamline operations and enhance system performance

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- 6+ years of hands-on GCP experience in architecture design and implementation.

- Mastery of GCP architecture design spanning all core Google Cloud Architecture Framework pillars.

- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale cloud architecture programs.

- Extensive experience with complex cross-service integrations (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, API Gateway/Apigee, Pub/Sub, Managed Service for Apache Kafka, Cloud Tasks, Workflows, Eventarc).

- Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Config Connector, Deployment Manager).

- Strategic experience in FinOps, cost governance, and performance engineering using Cloud - Billing reports, the Recommender, and Budgets & Alerts.

- Experience architecting multi-project Landing Zones with Resource Manager, Organization Policy Service, and the Cloud Foundation Toolkit.

- Strong understanding of application security, identity management (Cloud IAM, Cloud Identity, - Identity Platform), and cloud governance (Security Command Center, Assured Workloads, Policy - Intelligence).

- Hands-on experience designing GenAI/agentic architectures using Vertex AI, Gemini, RAG pipelines, and Vector Search.

- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to drive architectural decisions at the executive level.

- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Practices.

- Deep experience with microservices architecture, serverless patterns, distributed system design, and event-driven design.
