Job Description​

Saint Luke’s GI Specialists are actively searching for a BC/BE gastroenterologist to join a dynamic and cohesive GI group at Saint Luke’s North Hospital in Kansas City, MO. 

About the position: 

• The ideal candidate will primarily work alongside two established GI physicians at Saint Luke’s North Hospital (SLN) and join a team of eight fellowship-trained gastroenterologists

• In addition to practicing at Saint Luke’s North Hospital, there are opportunities to work with fellows at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City (SLH), the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC)

• Referral-based practice providing multidisciplinary care across three convenient, patient-friendly office locations and outpatient surgery centers

• Practice in new endoscopy facilities at both hospitals, with plans for expanding clinic space at Saint Luke’s North Hospital

• ERCP and EUS capabilities are available at SLN, and the team welcomes candidates with interests in general gastroenterology or focused areas such as motility, IBD, and interventional endoscopy

• All procedures are supported by anesthesiology, with access to multidisciplinary collaboration across specialty teams, including general surgery at SLN and surgery, transplant hepatology, and interventional radiology at SLH

• Saint Luke’s Physician Group is a physician-led organization with ample leadership opportunities and utilizes a fully integrated Epic EMR
