Motorola Solutions’ innovations, products and services play essential roles in people’s lives. Our
end-to-end suite of software solutions helps our customers answer thousands of emergency
calls and text messages, and process video, disparate evidence and records. We are also proud
to be industry leaders in video security solutions installed in more than 120 countries at
thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare
centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial
institutions, government facilities, and retailers.
Our products leverage cutting-edge voice technology, language models, natural language
understanding, video analytics, and Machine Learning to enable our customers to focus on what

and services in the areas of Speech & Audio, Machine Translation, Natural Language

Calipsa, which is part of MSI, is aiming at automating CCTV video monitoring. We are building a
cloud-based platform that automatically connects with cameras, processes and analyzes their
content and only forward actionable alerts to our customers. We are working with the biggest
security companies in the world, actively monitoring over 25 thousand sites worldwide. We are
expecting to massively grow the number of cameras and traffic on our platform in the near
future.
Our cloud-based platform connects seamlessly with all cameras regardless of their brand or
model and processes a wide range of analytics in real-time. You will be part of a small growing
team who will focus on achieving robust and scalable architecture in order to enable millions of
alarms to be processed on our platform. You will be developing features that enable customers
to get more insight and intelligence from their cameras. Everything that you do will need to scale
as it will serve hundreds of thousands of cameras all around the world. Being able to make
accurate estimates and deliver them is crucial in order to manage expectations from internal
and external stakeholders.

Job Description

● Responsible for the building frontend and backend
● Designing efficient architecture to respond to customer requirements
● Building highly scalable systems with a lot of traffic
● Solve difficult issues, including performance or concurrency issues, and propose
solutions
● Guide product decisions and the team roadmap with an engineering perspective

Basic Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Core Tech Stack: 5+ years of software engineering experience with advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.

• Frontend Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js (or React).

• Backend Pipeline Ownership: Proven track record of developmeing complex, heavy-load backend pipelines, including message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).

• API & Networking: Strong experience designing and maintaining OpenAPI specifications.

• Teamwork: Demonstrated strong team player skills with a collaborative approach to engineering.

Desired Skills

• Cloud & DevOps Infrastructure: Hands-on Kubernetes experience with AWS or GCP, along with extensive experience building and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Scalable Systems: Excitement about building, operating, and architecting resilient, high-throughput systems that impact a global community of users.

• Observability & Performance: Proactive drive for observability (monitoring, logging, tracing) to diagnose problems and optimize system performance.

• Distributed Work: Comfortable working asynchronously in a highly distributed, remote-first team environment across multiple time zones.
