Project Management – Manage internal and external projects effectively, this is including but not limited to project planning, resources allocation and project execution for a successful completion of the projects.

Technical Support – Provide in-depth technical solutions in ingredient, formulation, processing procedure and process optimization to go-to-market teams and external customers. Conduct seminar and technical training for internal and external customers which include product demonstrations to customers and/or during tradeshow.

Agility and  Innovation

Product Application – Develop technical capability in sweetener and drive food application projects that have significant business impact. This encompasses design of experiment, recipe development, process studies, troubleshooting, process optimization and trials with external customers.

New Product Development – Drive and manage innovation in development of new ideas, new products or new product platforms through ideation sessions, literature searches and experimentation. Work closely with go-to-market and regional teams to identify market needs, execute strategies, prioritize projects and develop robust value propositions for new product launch.

Relationships and People

Technology – Keep up to date on information on food trends and technology. Closely interact with regional and global technology team to exchange key learning, information and best practices. Work with key customers and the key influencers in the industry to establish strong technical foundation. 

Safety – Embrace the safety culture and participate actively in Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) activities. Continuously provide suggestions to upgrade safety awareness in the company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or science-related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in technical field in food manufacturing company, preferably beverage or flavour industry.
• Demonstrates expert level tasting skill and ability to formulate food products. 
• Strong technical and up-to-date knowledge in food applications including in-depth knowledge of stevia and beverage ingredients functionality.
• Good track records of successful product launches.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
