Le ou la technicien(ne) de service sur le terrain III effectue, sans supervision, l’entretien préventif, les travaux sous garantie et les réparations mineures sur une variété d’équipements et de systèmes industriels. Ce rôle consiste à répondre aux demandes des clients, à fournir un soutien technique avancé, à diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes, ainsi qu’à effectuer la modernisation (rétrofit) de panneaux de contrôle industriels. Le ou la technicien(ne) veille à ce que tous les travaux soient réalisés conformément à la norme ANSI/IIAR-6:2019, offre de la formation aux clients sur l’utilisation des équipements et s’assure que toute la documentation requise est complétée et soumise dans les délais prescrits.

The technician ensures that all tasks are completed in accordance with ANSI/IIAR-6 2019 standards, provides training to customers on equipment operation, and manages all required paperwork within the specified timeframe.
Responsibilities / Tasks
FRANÇAIS
- Répond aux demandes des clients et aux appels de service sur le terrain.
- Rencontre les clients sur site afin de discuter de la nature des travaux de service ou de réparation.
- Fournit un soutien technique avancé et effectue le dépannage avancé des groupes compresseurs.
- Fournit un soutien technique avancé et effectue le dépannage avancé des systèmes électriques et de contrôle.
- Fournit un soutien technique avancé et effectue le dépannage avancé des systèmes de réfrigération.
- Effectue la modernisation (rétrofit) de panneaux de contrôle industriels de divers fabricants.
- Réalise l’entretien préventif et les réparations conformément à la norme ANSI/IIAR-6:2019.
- Inspecte les équipements afin de confirmer leur bon fonctionnement.
- Formule des recommandations visant à prévenir les défaillances et améliorer la fiabilité des équipements.
- Présente au client les travaux effectués et les résultats obtenus.
- Soumet les feuilles de temps, rapports de dépenses (dans un délai de 30 jours), bons de service, rapports de mise en service, rapports d’inspection et toute autre documentation requise dans les délais prescrits.
- Offre un soutien téléphonique de dépannage en dehors des heures normales de travail.
- Forme les clients à l’utilisation sécuritaire et efficace des équipements.
- Effectue toute autre tâche connexe assignée.
ENGLISH
- Responds to customer requests and field dispatches.
- Meets with customers at the site to discuss the service or repair nature.
- Provides advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting for the compressor package.
- Provides advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting on electrical and control systems.
- Provides advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting of refrigeration systems.
- Performs retrofitting of industrial control panels across multiple manufacturers.
- Completes routine maintenance or repair in accordance with ANSI/IIAR-6 2019.
- Inspects machinery to confirm proper working order.
- Provides preventative measure suggestions. Discusses work completed with the customer.
- Submits all time sheets, expense reports (within 30 days), service tickets, start-up reports, inspection reports, and other required paperwork within the required timeframe.
- Performs after-hours telephone troubleshooting support.
- Proficiently trains customers on the operation of the equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Connaissance avancée des compresseurs à vis et à piston ainsi que de leurs systèmes associés.
- Connaissance approfondie des panneaux de contrôle industriels.
- Connaissance de la norme ANSI/IIAR-6:2019 et capacité à s’y conformer.
- Capacité à voyager jusqu’à 90 % du temps.
- Capacité à demeurer assis, debout, marcher, se pencher, s’étirer et travailler dans des espaces restreints pendant de longues périodes.
- Capacité à soulever et transporter fréquemment des charges allant jusqu’à 75 lb (34 kg).
- Dextérité manuelle suffisante pour utiliser des ordinateurs, outils et équipements industriels.
- Disponibilité pour travailler occasionnellement des heures prolongées, y compris les fins de semaine et les jours fériés.
- Capacité à travailler dans des environnements manufacturiers pouvant être bruyants, poussiéreux, chauds, froids, graisseux ou humides.
Formation et expérience
- Diplôme d’études secondaires (DES) ou équivalent (GED) requis.
- Diplôme d’une école technique en réfrigération ou dans un domaine connexe, un atout.
- Certification RETA CIRO, un atout.
- Certification ANSI/IIAR-6 requise ou capacité à l’obtenir dans un délai d’un an suivant l’embauche.
- Certification EPA 608 universelle, un atout.
- Minimum de 10 années d’expérience pertinente.
- Capacité à voyager et à travailler selon un horaire variable.
- Capacité à lire et interpréter des schémas de tuyauterie et d’instrumentation (P&ID) ainsi que des schémas électriques.
- Connaissance approfondie du cycle de réfrigération.
- Bonne connaissance des principaux composants d’un système de réfrigération.
- Connaissance avancée des systèmes électriques, du câblage et des logiques de contrôle.

- Advanced knowledge of screw and piston-type compressors and their packages.
- Advanced working knowledge of industrial control panels.
- Knowledge of ANSI/IIAR-6 2019 and capable of adhering to its standards.
- Ability to travel 90% of the time.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, walk, and maneuver in small spaces for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift/carry 75lbs frequently.
- Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computers, tools, and machinery.
- Ability to work extended hours on occasion, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in manufacturing areas that may be noisy, dusty, hot, cold, greasy, and/or wet.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field; preferred.
- RETA CIRO Certification; preferred.
- ANSI/IIAR-6 certification required or must be able to obtain certification within 1 year.
- EPA 608 universal certification; preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.
- Capable of reading P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Thorough knowledge of the refrigeration cycle.
- Knowledge of the major components pertaining to a refrigeration system.
- Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control schemes.
