Sobre esta vaga de Field Marketing Manager na Preservica
Field Marketing Manager
Embracing Experiential Marketing
You were likely schooled in event marketing, creating opportunities for customer relationships to build. Now, you understand these outcomes improve dramatically when we pay attention to the details and proactively make things happen, leaving nothing to chance. Are you ready to bring meaning to customer interactions across a growing market beating SaaS solutions provider?
We are Preservica, a global leader in Active Digital Preservation, trusted by organizations to preserve their most important digital records for decades to come. From national archives and government agencies to universities and global enterprises, our customers rely on us to ensure critical information remains accessible, compliant, and defensible.
Preservica was built on relationships made in person. Long before there was a digital strategy or a pipeline dashboard, this business grew because someone stood in a room with the right person, at the right conference, and earned their trust one real conversation at a time. That's not a nostalgic origin story, it's still true today: our buyers make long, high-stakes, high-trust decisions, and nothing moves those decisions like a great in-person moment. We're hiring an Experiential Field Marketing Manager to take that instinct, which built the company, and turn it into a deliberate, ambitious practice built for where we're going next
About the role:
Where we're going next includes new ground: we're expanding beyond our roots into corporate buyers, a market that doesn't yet know us the way our long-standing persona- and vertical-focused segments do. That means you're not just running a playbook, you're figuring out what a first great in-person impression looks like for an audience meeting us for the first time, and building the programs that earn their trust the same way we earned everyone else's.
This is a build role, not a calendar-maintenance role. You'll set the experiential strategy across every segment we serve, from the communities that have trusted us for years to the corporate buyers we're just meeting, and build the account-based and flagship-event programs that put the right people in the room for each one. You'll obsess over the details other people skip: the follow-up email that goes out an hour later instead of a week later, the seating chart that puts the right two people next to each other, the swag someone actually keeps. You decide which conferences earn a real presence versus a sponsorship line item, which accounts get an invitation to something bespoke, and how we make every single touchpoint feel like proof of who we are, not a generic booth.
What you'll do:
- Own the experiential and field marketing strategy across our priority segments creating memorable experiences for our prospects and customers
- Build the experiential playbook for a new audience: design what a first great in-person impression looks like for corporate buyers as we expand beyond our long-standing persona- and vertical-focused segments into that market
- Plan and execute flagship conference presence, industry events, and sponsorships across every segment we serve, from strategy through on-site execution and post-event analysis
- Sweat the details that make an experience actually memorable, invitations, seating, follow-up timing, the small choices that separate a forgettable booth from a relationship someone remembers a year later
- Design and run account-based experiential programs, executive dinners, roundtables, and hosted briefings, that build real relationships with named target accounts, not general-audience brand awareness
- Partner with sales to identify target accounts for field programs and make sure the invite lists and messaging reflect who's actually in the room
- Build and maintain relationships with the industry associations and event organizers that matter in our segments, so we're positioned early for speaking slots and sponsorship opportunities, not just buying a booth after the fact
- Customize messaging and materials for each segment's events in partnership with product marketing, so an event for one persona or vertical doesn't sound like the same pitch as an event for another
- Track and report on field/event pipeline contribution, tying spend and attendance back to real pipeline and revenue, not just leads scanned
- Bring a point of view on where experiential marketing should evolve, including where AI tools can sharpen event targeting, personalize outreach to invitees, or speed up event content production
- Manage event budgets, vendor and venue relationships, logistics, and speaker/sponsorship negotiations end to end
What you'll bring:
- 3 to 5 years in field marketing, experiential marketing, event marketing, or trade show execution in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
- A track record of running account-based event programs (executive dinners, roundtables, hosted briefings) that generated real, attributable pipeline, not just attendance
- Experience managing event budgets, vendor and venue contracts, and sponsorship negotiations independently
- Comfort working directly with sales leadership and executive stakeholders to build target account lists and shape event strategy around them
- Strong ownership instincts: you see an underperforming event line item or a conference that's not earning its spot and you fix it, without waiting to be told
- A genuine sweat-the-details streak: you notice the follow-up that's late, the badge that's misspelled, the swag nobody wants, and you fix those things because you can't not
- Willingness to travel for events
Nice to have
- Experience marketing into industries with longer, more technical, or more relationship-driven buying cycles
- Experience building a new market or audience from scratch, standing up an experiential program for a buyer type the company hadn't seriously targeted before
- Familiarity with AI tools for event targeting, personalized outreach, or content production (Claude or similar)
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (Salesforce, Pardot) well enough to see a campaign through from invite to attributed pipeline
- ABM certification or hands-on account-based marketing program experience
