Responsible for field marketing for an assigned portfolio of 25–40 channel partners and directs go-to-market execution for new product and service launches. Evaluates each partner's business objectives, determines which marketing approach will best generate pipeline, selects and negotiates with the vendors who deliver it, and recommends program direction to the VP of Channel Marketing. Also owns the Partner Certification Program end-to-end, establishing its structure, cadence, and content priorities. Operates with substantial independence and minimal day-to-day supervision, with work reviewed on business outcomes rather than methods. Success is measured on partner-sourced pipeline, not task completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for field marketing strategy and program mix for an assigned portfolio of 25–40 channel partners by evaluating partner business objectives, market position, and historical pipeline performance.
- Designs partner marketing programs — campaigns, webinars, roadshows, regional events, and prospect-facing activations — selecting the format and approach best suited to each pipeline objective.
- Selects vendors and negotiates scope, terms, and pricing on the company's behalf for partner events and field programs.
- Directs delivery of partner conferences, regional events, and field activations, defining scope and holding vendors and contract staff accountable to standards.
- Recommends allocation of channel marketing spend across partners and programs; recommendations are given particular weight by the VP of Channel Marketing.
- Analyzes partner-sourced pipeline for conversion gaps and determines what intervention — enablement, campaign support, or process change — will close them.
- Interprets campaign and pipeline performance data to identify root causes, and determines which programs to scale, modify, or discontinue.
- Determines how brand and messaging standards apply to partner-led initiatives and adjudicates requests that fall outside standard guidelines.
- Curious about AI and quick to put it to work. Use AI tools to speed up event planning, personalize outreach and turn campaign data into insights, and share what works with the rest of the team.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in field marketing, partner/channel marketing, demand generation, or a comparable B2B marketing function.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing marketing programs independently, not solely executing programs designed by others.
- Experience selecting vendors and negotiating scope, terms, and pricing.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and to exercise judgment in ambiguous situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without authority.
- Regular ability to travel to partner and field events as required.
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce, monday.com or comparable CRM/PRM and project management platforms.
- Experience in a high-growth B2B technology or SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with indirect/channel go-to-market models.
