About the Role
We’re looking for our first Field marketer at WorkWhile. You'll own our field program end to end: which events we do, what happens before and after each one, and the target-account programs that run alongside them. Every event should produce a measurable contribution to pipeline, and you'll own that number.
We aren't just looking for traditional playbooks. We want someone who actively leverages AI productivity and automation tools to execute, test, and scale campaigns. You’ll thrive here if you love a fast-paced startup environment, possess a strong bias for action, can turn scrappy ideas into reality, and are obsessed with tracking pipeline ROI.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing (B2B) and work closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Data Science to ensure our campaigns translate into revenue. You'll operate as an individual contributor with end-to-end ownership of your domain.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven team at an inflection point. Your work will directly accelerate our growth and help shape WorkWhile’s demand gen strategy from the ground up.
What you’ll do
Run events as campaigns, not moments: Own pre-event meeting booking, on-floor engagement, and post-event follow-up as one connected program, and turn field engagement into opportunities and deal acceleration.
Choose the event mix: Decide what's worth doing, from sponsoring industry conferences to hosting our own dinners and roundtables. Score every event on audience fit, cost, and expected return before we say yes, and use what you learn to decide which ones to repeat.
Run account-based field programs: Build programs for one account, a few accounts, or many, matched to open deals and target accounts, hand in hand with Sales, SDRs, and AMs.
Arm Sales with proof: Build the case studies, one-pagers, and competitive material that move deals, and keep the customer story current as we expand into new verticals.
Build with AI, not just use it: Find the manual parts of the event workflow, from invite list enrichment to follow-up drafting, and build tools and templates that speed them up. Build the ones the rest of the team picks up too.
What we’re looking for
Experience: 4+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or integrated marketing at a B2B company, ideally growth-stage with a sales-led motion. You've owned trade show and conference programs end to end. Experience marketing to a non-technical operational buyer is a strong plus, and logistics, staffing, hospitality, manufacturing, and facilities backgrounds all translate. Willing to travel for events.
Campaign-oriented: You treat every event as one part of a campaign, with outreach before and follow-up after, not something that ends when the booth comes down.
Audience & account-driven: You become an expert on the target accounts. You understand their priorities, their buying committees, and their signals well enough that Marketing is a strategic advantage for Sales.
π-shaped: Deep craft in field and events, with real working competence in product marketing and growth.
High quality bar: You get the people, the place, and the programming right so every event stands out, starting with who's in the room.
AI user, with judgment: You use AI to speed up the event busywork, from invite lists to post-event follow-up, and you check what it drafts before it goes out.
AI builder: You find a manual workflow and build a tool or template that removes it, rather than doing it a third time.
Multiplayer AI builder: What you build gets adopted by others, so the field program scales without adding headcount.
Sets & hits goals: You own event-sourced pipeline end to end and make the calls on which events to cut and which to scale.
Team orchestrator: You keep Sales, SDRs, and AMs ahead of what's coming and clear on what they need to do.
Velocity: You set direction with limited guidance, test new formats quickly, and find new communities and partners where our buyers already are.
