  • Provide orientation and support to field staff on storytelling protocols and safeguarding compliance.

  • Ensure production of timely updates, human-interest stories, and visual assets for internal and external use.
  • Liaise with response teams to ensure communications reflect accurate needs, impact, and dignity.

30% Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support donor visibility and partner communications through tailored content packages and field updates.
  • Coordinate with national and regional communications teams to amplify field stories across platforms.

  • Uphold World Vision’s safeguarding policies in all content creation and dissemination.
  • Ensure informed consent, cultural sensitivity, and privacy protection in all field documentation.
  • Monitor and mitigate reputational risks related to communications activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in field-based communications, media production, humanitarian communications, development communications, or storytelling.
  • Experience in emergency response communications is highly desirable.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote and emergency-affected areas, as required.
