Position Overview
The Family Office Resources (FOR) Analyst supports the execution and continued development of strategic initiatives across the FOR Field Engagement, Philanthropy Platform, Family Governance, and Wealth Education. Working closely with FOR leadership and senior subject-matter experts, the analyst supports platform execution, Field Engagement, and the continued development of FOR capabilities, including Philanthropy and Family Governance & Wealth Education.

The role requires strong project management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and execute priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

Platform & Strategic Execution

• Support strategic initiatives related to MSGIFT Ventures, MSAW Workplace DAF, E*TRADE DAF, Next Level Fund, and international MSGIFT offerings.

• Support the execution of strategic initiatives and projects across the Philanthropy platform.

• Support Philanthropy events, publications, programs, and other strategic initiatives as business priorities evolve (e.g. Gifts for Good publication, Pay it Forward philanthropy newsletter, thematic charitable giving guides, event planning and execution for annual Exchange client event, and support Next Gen Dynastic Cohort program)

• Coordinate project plans, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and follow-up across multiple workstreams (e.g. landscape surveys, mission statements, family philanthropy roadmaps, giving vehicle comparisons, MSGIFT marketing campaigns).

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and operating efficiency and support implementation of scalable solutions.

• Identify execution risks and operational challenges and escalate appropriately with potential solutions.

• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other control partners to support appropriate governance and regulatory alignment across assigned initiatives.

• Develop and maintain operating procedures, playbooks, templates, reference materials, and other business documentation.

Field Engagement & Business Development

• Support the continued curriculum development, rollout initiatives, advisor resources, and supporting infrastructure. expansion, and adoption of FOR capabilities, with a focus on Philanthropy and Family Governance & Wealth Education,

• Coordinate with FOR leadership and subject-matter experts, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and other internal and external partners on capability-development initiatives.

• Partner with FOR leadership, subject-matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute business priorities.

• Support technology, automation, and artificial intelligence initiatives, including testing and validation of new tools and identification of potential business applications.

• Develop and enhance advisor resources, client-facing materials, educational resources, and engagement infrastructure supporting FOR capabilities.

• Support initiatives and enhancements designed to increase Financial Advisor awareness, engagement, connectivity and utilization of FOR capabilities.

• Coordinate advisor-facing programs, field forums, training, communications, speaking engagements, events, and other engagement initiatives.

• Develop presentations, communications, and materials supporting Field Engagement and advisor-facing initiatives.

• Coordinate across FOR specialty areas and broader Wealth Management partners to identify and execute shared initiatives.

• Support social media channels for head of department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within financial services, wealth management, project management, strategy, business management, or a related field.

• Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred, or ability to obtain required licenses within six months of hire.

• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills with confidence and presence to present effectively to senior and key stakeholders.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and AI.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.

• Demonstrated initiative, judgment, discretion, accountability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
