- Operations & Maintenance: Inspect buildings regularly, manage routine work orders, and run preventive maintenance programs.
- Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks, train staff, and monitor the performance of maintenance or custodial crews.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with outside contractors, oversee project progress, and review service quality.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce local building codes, safety rules, and environmental regulations.
- Budget Support: Track facility expenses, manage inventory, and assist with cost-effective purchasing.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related trade.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Education: High school diploma or technical/vocational certification; a degree in a relevant field is a plus
