Department Overview

As the general affairs division of the Rakuten Group as a whole, we provide a highly productive environment that enables employees to create new innovations at the new Rakuten Crimson House head office and other domestic and overseas offices of the Rakuten Group and provide both hardware and software support for each administrative operation.

Providing almost of all user services in Rakuten group     offices to promote employees and all user’s engagement and productivity strategically. Also, our mission is to reflect Rakuten culture into the office environment.

Position Details

We are looking for people to take on the role of facility management in the Rakuten Group. The Rakuten Group operates and manages facilities, mainly in the offices of the Rakuten Group in Japan.

Facility Management, Repairs, Environmental Improvement
Maintenance and management of building facilities, repairs, fire and disaster prevention reporting and coordination, planning and construction of plans for environmental improvements in occupied offices.

Business Support
Management and compilation of printed materials (business cards, corporate-related printed materials), vehicle management, purchasing-related management work, Management Office Support Center (including company-wide compilation).

Physical Security Management Operations
Security card management, security authorization, office security compartment and office security management for all locations.

Work Environment

Organizational Structure

- Our section consists of 30 members in Japan, and each group team consist of 5 to 10 members. 
- We are now looking for a manager and member class for facilities management.
- While 50% of our team members come from the FM industry, the other 50% come from other industries, and we have a supportive environment where they can learn on the job.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- At least 3 to 5 years of practical experience in general affairs and facility management.
- Basic PC skills (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.) 

Desired Qualifications:

- Those who can always take on challenges with flexible ideas even in a changing environment and situation
- Those who are highly motivated to set their own issues for business problems and to complete the plan for solving them through appropriate communication with related parties.
- Those who are motivated to create the best office for Rakuten Group without being bound by existing concepts
- Experience in office operation management, project management and construction management
- Business level English (conversation, writing)
- PC skills (Auto CAD, various browser-based tools, etc.)
- Experienced in energy saving related reporting work
- Persons with work experience in legal power outages, disaster prevention drills and BCM
