General Description:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of H&K’s facilities. This position will report to the firm’s Director of Facilities.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee the maintenance and facility operations of H&K's offices.
• Manage building services provided to our offices.
• Assist with and implement facility management policies and procedures.
• Support the monitoring and management of facility budgets and expenses.
• Conduct both regular and emergency inspections of the offices to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Coordinate and oversee facility improvement projects.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers engaged in facility activities.
• Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law. 
• Special projects and duties as assigned. 

Key Capabilities:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and expenses effectively.
• Background in interior construction.
• Proficiency in facility management software and tools.
• Knowledge or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365.

Required Qualifications & Education:

• College degree, preferred but not required
• 5+ years facility management and/or construction experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

• Physically able to work on construction sites.
• Ability to travel weekly as needed.
