Senra Systems is seeking a reliable, hands-on Facilities/Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and upkeep of our facility in Cypress, California.
The ideal candidate is a versatile, self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and functional work environment. This position will perform preventive maintenance, minor building repairs, facility improvements, furniture assembly and installation, utility installations, and general maintenance support.
The Facilities/Maintenance Technician will work closely with employees, management, and outside contractors to ensure facility-related needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout the facility.
- Conduct general building upkeep, repairs, and maintenance.
- Perform touch-up painting, drywall/patching, caulking, and other minor cosmetic repairs.
- Maintain and control trash, recycling, and waste areas, including coordinating removal when necessary.
- Perform light plumbing repairs and maintenance, such as faucets, sinks, toilets, drains, hoses, and fittings.
- Perform light electrical work and basic troubleshooting, such as replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, and other facility components within the employee's qualifications and applicable regulations.
- Perform floor cleaning and general facility cleaning as needed.
- Assemble, relocate, and install office furniture, workstations, shelving, cabinets, and other equipment.
- Install and maintain facility utilities and support systems, including compressed-air hoses, regulators, fittings, and related components.
- Assist with installation, relocation, and modification of facility equipment and utilities.
- Inspect facility areas regularly and identify maintenance, repair, or safety issues before they become larger problems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and maintenance inventory in an organized manner.
- Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers when specialized repairs or services are required.
- Assist with facility projects, renovations, moves, and improvements.
- Respond to maintenance requests from employees and departments in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and completed work.
- Follow all applicable company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support other facilities-related tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a similar hands-on role preferred.
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, and building maintenance.
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
- Ability to assemble and install office furniture and facility equipment.
- Basic understanding of compressed-air systems, hoses, regulators, fittings, and related components is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine when repair can be completed internally versus when a qualified contractor is required.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and respond appropriately to urgent facility needs.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle equipment, furniture, tools, and materials as required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials, tools, furniture, and equipment as required.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor facility environments.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other maintenance equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Preferred Skills
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or technology facility.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Basic understanding of compressed-air systems.
- Basic carpentry and furniture installation skills.
- Ability to read basic drawings, diagrams, or equipment instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with workplace safety practices.

Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Hourly Range: $32.00-$34.50
- This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Cypress, CA.
