What You’ll Do

We’re looking for an experienced Gas Utility Locator with at least 1 year of gas locating experience to join our Houston team.

You’ll locate and mark underground gas utilities before digging projects begin, helping keep crews safe and prevent utility damage.

This is a field-based role—you’ll work outdoors and drive daily.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Overtime and occasional weekends as needed

What Your Day Looks Like

• Drive to job sites (50–200+ miles/day)
• Use maps and locating equipment to identify underground gas utilities
• Mark utility locations with paint and flags
• Communicate findings with crews
• Respond to emergency locate requests as needed

Requirements – Must Have

• At least 1 year of gas utility locating experience
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Comfortable driving long distances daily
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to walk 4–6 miles daily and lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Willing to work overtime as needed
