EU Resilience Lead

The Opportunity:

Establish and scale Booz Allen’s European resilience capability as an extension of the successful U.S.-based Commercial Enterprise Resilience practice. Support Fortune 500 companies and large European organizations in protecting critical infrastructure, sustaining essential services, and recovering operations amid all-hazards threats such as cyberattacks, technology outages, geopolitical disruptions, supply chain instability, and more. Deliver enterprise resilience transformation programs for European clients, implementing resilient operating models, secure recovery architectures, and capabilities aligned with European regulations like DORA, NIS2, CER Directive, ISO 22301, and sector-specific guidance. Expand Booz Allen’s Commercial Enterprise Resilience Practice into Europe, the UK, and beyond, growing a portfolio of clients and market, shape, and deliver resilience services across the region. Collaborate with global and regional leaders to adapt proven methodologies and assets to local market needs, regulatory expectations, and cross-border environments. Build client relationships, lead proposals and executive presentations, and deliver advisory services across Booz Allen’s Assured Resilience themes, which include Assured Readiness planning and governance, Assured Availability for hardening technical environments, and Assured Recovery building recovery capabilities for critical services.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience leading or advising on enterprise technology, resilience, cybersecurity, infrastructure, disaster recovery, business continuity, incident response, or crisis management disciplines for large, complex European or global organizations
  • Experience with advising executive stakeholders and leading senior-level advising or delivery engagements across business, technology, cybersecurity, risk, and operations teams, including building consensus, shaping decisions, and driving action across complex organizations
  • Experience with implementing enterprise resilience, cyber recovery, disaster recovery, business continuity, or operational resilience capabilities across large-scale hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Experience in assessing resilience programs, identifying gaps in current capabilities, and developing practical improvement roadmaps that help clients harden infrastructure, improve alignment to NIST CSF categories, strengthen recovery and continuity strategies, test response capabilities, and mature program governance over time
  • Experience in a consulting or corporate advisory role, including with a top-tier consulting company, specialized cybersecurity or resilience consultancy, systems integrator, or internal enterprise function responsible for resilience, cybersecurity, technology risk, business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, or operational resilience
  • Experience in building client relationships and supporting market development through proposals, executive briefings, business cases, roadmaps, client-ready presentations, and published thought leadership, while identifying opportunities to expand account impact, improve client outcomes, and design innovative solutions
  • Knowledge of European and UK regulatory expectations for operational resilience, digital operational resilience, cyber resilience, ICT risk, third-party risk, and critical service continuity, including DORA, NIS2, CER Directive, ISO22301, EBA ICT Guidelines and related sector specific supervisory expectations
  • Ability to translate regulatory drivers into practical client actions, investment priorities, and implementation roadmaps
  • Ability to clearly convey how cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, incident response, infrastructure, networking, cloud, and third-party risk work together to protect revenue, reduce single points of failure, harden critical systems, sustain essential operations, and navigate disruptive events
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in advising clients on infrastructure, application, backup, replication, and recovery architectures across on-premises, hybrid, cloud, and virtualized environments, including the transformation of traditional disaster recovery capabilities into secure, agile, scalable, always-on, and technically resilient architectures
  • Experience in mature traditional business continuity programs into operational resilience capabilities that define the minimum viable company, document downtime procedures, map technology and supplier dependencies, reduce single points of failure, and sustain essential operations during disruptive event
  • Experience with advising clients on establishing unified command-and-control structures to manage crises, convening executive and operational stakeholders, integrating physical and cyber security operations centers, and coordinating decisions across the enterprise and multidisciplinary response teams
  • Experience in designing and facilitating disaster recovery, cyber recovery, business continuity, incident response, crisis management, and cyber wargaming exercises to test decision-making, validate response and recovery capabilities, and improve operational readiness
  • Experience with "hands-on" practice building and moving between strategy, sales, solution shaping, delivery oversight, and execution while collaborating across U.S. and European teams to scale Booz Allen’s proven resilience capabilities and tailor them to European client needs, market conditions, and regulatory environments
  • Experience in integrating cyber resilience with operational risk, third-party risk, and enterprise risk management to support board-level resilience reporting and investment prioritization
  • Experience with leading multidisciplinary implementation teams comprising infrastructure, cloud, networking, identity, security, application, and business continuity specialists across multiple countries
  • Ability to guide clients in designing and implementing Secure Isolated Recovery Environment (SIRE) and Live-Fire Exercise solutions that support Tier 0 infrastructure availability and enable the recovery of critical systems, applications, identities, data, and services during and after a crisis
  • Ability to lead as a self-starter and manage multiple projects in fast-paced consulting environments while maintaining client confidence, leading technical and non-technical workshops, driving consensus on complex topics, and producing high-quality reports, proposals, technical solutions, and executive-level presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coach and develop team members, protect sensitive data, and travel up to 25% of the time based on client needs
  • Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CBCP, MBCI, ISO 22301, ITIL, cloud architecture or security certifications, or comparable certifications
