Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator in our North Mankato-MN facility.

No experience in printing or operating equipment is required. We will provide training on our equipment, processes, quality standards, and production requirements. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and safely operate production equipment.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Learn to set up and operate printing press equipment in accordance with job specifications, quality standards, and established procedures
• Make equipment adjustments and work within required tolerances to maintain quality and production standards
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment testing to support reliable operation
• Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity
• Visually inspect printed materials throughout production runs and identify quality issues
• Work with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and respond to schedule or deadline changes
• Follow all equipment and workplace safety requirements

Your Shift:

• 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

You Must Have:

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn equipment operation and adjustment
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to work safely around production machinery

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility
• Regularly move 25+ pounds through lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying

We Would Also Prefer:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good color discernment
  

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 - 21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
