Reporting to the Clayton EHS Manager, you'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement across environment, health and safety performance while supporting the site's commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Working closely with site leaders, operational teams, corporate stakeholders and regulatory authorities, you'll help embed best-practice EHS standards into everyday operations and contribute to PPG's vision of an injury-free workplace.

Where you'll create impact
You'll support the ongoing success of our Clayton manufacturing site by helping ensure our EHS systems, processes and culture continue to evolve and improve.
You'll do this by:
- Supporting the implementation of site EHS policies, systems and programs that drive compliance and continuous improvement.
- Maintaining environmental and safety compliance across licences, permits, accreditations and legislative requirements.
- Leading and supporting EHS audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify opportunities and improve performance.
- Facilitating incident investigations and corrective actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Driving environmental sustainability initiatives focused on water, waste and energy reduction.
- Partnering with operational leaders and frontline teams to strengthen safety engagement and accountability.
- Managing EHS reporting and compliance obligations including regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Coordinating EHS training programs to ensure employees have the knowledge and capability to work safely.
- Supporting continuous improvement of the site's EHS Management System in alignment with PPG's global standards.
- Contributing to broader ANZ EHS initiatives and projects as part of a collaborative regional safety team.

What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
- Practical experience within an EHS, Safety, Environmental or Risk Management role.
- Exposure to a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, engineering or operational environment will be highly regarded.
- Sound understanding of relevant workplace health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Experience conducting audits, investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive, results-focused mindset.

This role offers a salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation, along with the opportunity to build your EHS career within a global industry leader.
