Join our Haleon team, a global leader in consumer health, as an Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Industrial Placement Student.

Are you a second-year university student looking to kick-start your career in Environment, Health, and Safety? This is your opportunity to join our EHS Corporate EHS & Engineering team, located in London, for a 12-month placement, starting 28th June 2027. While the role is based in London, and you will be based in the London office, many team members and stakeholders and business partners may be based in other global locations.

You'll have the chance to work directly with, and learn from, an experienced team who will support your development and help you reach your full potential.

In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience and contribute to important EHS global projects, including:

• Driver Safety Program: Contribute to our company-wide driver safety program, spanning across 46 commercial markets
• EHS Awards Management: Take the lead as project manager for our annual EHS Awards process, coordinating and communicating with teams around the world.
• Digital EHS Tools & Data Analysis: Provide technical support for our EHS One platform and help create Power BI dashboards to turn data into meaningful insights for stakeholders. There will be opportunities to develop Power BI skills during the placement, including access to funded training courses.
• EHS Data Verification: Assist in verifying EHS performance data from our manufacturing sites, R&D centres and commercial operations to support our public environmental sustainability commitments.
• Strategic Project Management: Lead various strategic initiatives by working with stakeholders to develop plans, track progress, and ensure timely updates.

Within the role you, in addition to leaning new technical skills and knowledge you will also develop soft and transferable skills such as:

• Verbal and written communication with global stakeholders
• Organisational and planning skills
• Presentation and facilitation skills
• Confidence and early leadership capability

Education Requirements:

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and is seeking a year in industry placement.

If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) or an Integrated Masters Degree and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university.  Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

• Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a final stage virtual interview; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
• Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.
