What this job involves:
The Engineering Program Manager supports JLL's client, Amazon Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF), holding responsibility for engineering program support within an assigned Area and providing back-up support for the Regional Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for managing and performing administrative tasks related to engineering programs, ensuring processes are current, reviewed, revised, updated, and shared across the organization. This role requires you to take individual program ownership with excellent communication skills to manage Asset Life Cycle & Reliability, CapEx, D&C Closeout & Commissioning Asset Gather, and MEP employee comfort systems. You will offer support on existing or escalating MEP troubleshooting and repairs, partner with Regional Engineering Managers and Project Managers on new builds to ensure consistency with standards and GREF Programs, and use data trends to identify potential system problems while proactively working with teams on solutions and verification. You will play a crucial role in partnering with area site teams to create, recommend, and approve engineering programs while verifying MEP standards are programmed and met at site locations.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Take individual program ownership with excellent communication skills to ensure processes are current, reviewed/revised accordingly, updated and shared, including Asset Life Cycle & Reliability, CapEx, D&C Closeout & Commissioning Asset Gather, and MEP employee comfort systems
- Offer support to the Regional Engineering Manager on existing or escalating MEP troubleshooting and repairs within the area
- Partner with the Regional Engineering Manager and Project Managers on new builds and projects ensuring consistency to standards and GREF Programs
- Take ownership of partnering with area site teams in creation, recommendation and approval for engineering programs such as Planned Outages, ACDC, and COE
- Use data trends to identify potential system problems and proactively work with teams in solutioning and verification, including Hot/Cold Calls and SEV1 (Emergency) and SEV2 (Urgent) Reactive Work Orders
- Assist the Regional Engineering Manager with Corrigo MEP Assets and Preventative Maintenance Programs, ensuring assets are current with applicable JACS coding and PM programs meet equipment requirements for life expectancy and longevity
- Manage warranty program, including ensuring all device warranty dates are recorded
- Partner with area SFMs and FMs on obtaining site specific information for Global Engineering, Sustainability requests on low/no cost initiatives to drive and improve customer satisfaction
- Verify MEP standards are programmed and met at site locations, identifying potential design impacts
- Identify value add opportunities and partner with Regional Engineer Manager in development of narrative
- Manage equipment PM schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in technology or engineering strongly preferred; Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing background a plus
- 3-5+ years of program management experience, implementing efficient large-scale platform projects through the full project lifecycle strongly preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with a variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines
- Effective conflict and impediments management in a fast-paced environment with ability to take higher responsibilities working with cross-functional teams who are working on multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and closing gaps in the program development/implementation lifecycle
- Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals and priorities
- Proven experience in process development and project management principles leading to improved outcomes with the ability to prioritize activities and work on multiple activities or priorities at once and stay on track and within budget
- Experience communicating effectively with leaders regarding the program scope, schedule, budget, risks, mitigation strategies, status, and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Corrigo and CMMS platforms
- Experience in facility management or commercial real estate operations
- Knowledge of MEP systems and preventative maintenance best practices
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and low/no cost improvement programs
- Experience with data analysis and trending for predictive maintenance.

Estimated compensation for this position:
126,600.00 – 155,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
