Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams and provide direction throughout software development initiatives.
- Support engineering teams in the effective execution of technical priorities.
- Guide projects through planning, execution, and successful completion.
- Establish clear priorities and maintain progress toward project objectives.
- Apply product judgment when evaluating engineering needs and decisions.
- Incorporate project and business considerations into technical decision-making.
- Make timely and effective decisions in fast-moving environments.
- Balance technical requirements with broader business priorities.
- Support coordinated execution across technical and business initiatives.
- Promote accountability for completing agreed-upon projects and deliverables.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar technical leadership role.
- 7+ years of hands-on knowledge development experience with strong technical expertise across the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support engineering teams.
- Strong product acumen and the ability to assess product-related implications.
- Strong project management judgment across planning and execution.
- Solid business acumen applied to engineering priorities and decisions.
- Proven ability to drive projects from initial planning through completion.
- Strong decision-making skills in dynamic and fast-moving environments.
- Ability to balance technical, product, project, and business priorities.
- Demonstrated capacity to support execution across multiple organizational priorities.
