About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer III to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hotel facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and employees. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the Engineering Department through preventive maintenance and timely corrective actions.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and related equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Handle emergency situations, including power failures, equipment breakdowns, and safety-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and work orders.
• Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and engineering standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences

What you bring

• Diploma or equivalent technical education.

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in building maintenance, hotel engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of: Electrical systems, HVAC systems, Plumbing systems, Mechanical equipment, Fire & Life Safety systems
• Ability to operate computer systems for maintenance reporting and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Technical certifications or trade licenses are an advantage
