As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Energy Engineer to join our team and support the development, implementation, and operation of renewable energy projects across their full lifecycle.
About the Role
As part of our continued growth, GREEN is looking for a passionate, hands-on Energy Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, implementation, and operation of renewable energy projects.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in wind and solar PV projects, supporting activities across the project lifecycle, including technical design, construction supervision, plant monitoring, performance analysis, and technical administration.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Piraeus.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and support the technical management of the Group’s 12 MW renewable energy portfolio.
- Prepare technical drawings, project documentation, presentations, and reports.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare cost analyses, technical evaluations, and plant performance reports.
- Develop, review, and maintain AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Participate in the design, evaluation, and technical analysis of new renewable energy projects and technologies.
- Support construction supervision and ensure that works comply with approved technical specifications, quality standards, budgets, and project schedules.
- Assist with troubleshooting, technical assessments, and the continuous improvement of plant performance and reliability.
Requirements
- MEng degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in renewable energy, energy projects, engineering consultancy, or a construction-site environment.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in the EPC sector will be considered an advantage.
