About the location:

A unique property, the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is tucked away in the secluded Petite Anse bay on the southwest coast of Mahé, the Seychelles’ largest island.  The pristine Petite Anse beach and largely untouched natural landscapes, provide all who visit a sense of escape, adventure and discovery.  From here you can easily get to know local Seychellois culture at nearby Victoria Market, Takamaka Rum Distillery or Jardin du Roi Spice Garden, or venture by boat for guided day trips to other remote islands such as Praslin or La Digue.

Ensure the Maid Stations are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.

Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model

Attends all scheduled training sessions

Cleans and self inspects areas assigned Is

proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery; reports defects and accidents to management immediately.

Any emergencies are to be reported directly to security

Is competent in MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) procedures and trained in accident response

Assists in general departmental administration

Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.

Adhere to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations and department procedures and policies.

Dress in issued uniform and ensure a neat, clean and tidy appearance at all times.

Wear your name tag.

Take extra caution when handling fragile and breakable items

Report to work on time, aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the Supervisor in adequate time as stated in Employee Handbook.

Clean P.C. Houses, Department Head Units, and Public Areas Including: Gym, Internet Café, Games Room, Laundry Room, TV Room, Showers Rooms, hallways and any other area designated in the E Housing following the established procedures and Four Seasons standards.

Ensure all vacated Employee Units are cleaned promptly as per standards to minimize any waiting period for New Arriving Employees.

Restock vacated units with the standard inventory (sheets, towels, soap, fruit and water amenity etc).

Inspect Vacant Units (1) time per week checking for any maintenance issues

Remove all garbage and recyclable items and place in the appropriate bins inside the service area.

Carefully care and rinse out and dry, cleaning equipment and return to its proper place.

Assist to reduce wastage of supplies and amenities by proper handling, usage and storage.

Inform E Housing Manager of any maintenance, repairs needed or damages in the PC Housing, in the DH unit and all other blocks, in the Public Areas, Laundry Rooms, TV Rooms, Showers.

Report any belongings found in Vacated Units to E Housing Manager and Security.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Well informed of basic hotel information in order to assist any guest or fellow employees when asked.

Inform the E Housing Manager of any unusual events immediately

Communicate any special instructions during handover at the end of every shift.

Maintain good working relationship and communication with other departments.

Ensure all units and storage rooms are locked securely upon departure.

Complete weekly and monthly deep cleaning projects

Able to work without constant supervision

Schedule & Hours 

•    Full time – 5 days a week of which you will be expected to work early mornings, days, evenings,      overnight, public holidays or weekends

•    The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on operational need.
