Jefferson Health is seeking board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our growing enterprise. Opportunities are available across Jefferson Health in a variety of clinical and academic settings throughout the greater Philadelphia region, including Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Our Emergency Medicine physicians provide high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse patient populations across a broad range of acuity levels. Depending on the location and position, physicians may have opportunities to participate in medical education, resident and student teaching, quality improvement, clinical leadership, research, and other academic initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities may include:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Provide evidence-based emergency care across a broad spectrum of clinical conditions and acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, consultants, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in departmental quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Support the education of residents, fellows, and medical students, as applicable to the practice setting
• Contribute to the clinical, academic, and organizational goals of the Department of Emergency Medicine

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey, depending on practice location
• Excellent clinical, communication, and collaborative skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
