Objective / Purpose of the Function: The Electronics Technician performs technical activities on products, equipment, and systems relevant to their area of work. Authority: Consult FMI-143 for individual Standard Operating Procedures related to authorities/responsibilities on Management Systems. Principal Responsibilities: • Calibrate high-voltage sources according to test procedures. • Align multipliers. • Train new electronics technicians in high-voltage generator and X-ray testing. • Analyze high-voltage generators and X-rays. • Support new product introductions. • Generate corresponding NCRs when units are out of specification. • Monitor and support the proper use and management of systems required in production during the product process (Shvlabor, Genealogy, ESD, use of the Glovia system, Calibration, Scanstar, Andon System, etc.). • Report to the support team on critical and recurring defects that impact Dashboard metrics. • Escalate design flaws and test procedure documentation issues to the support teams. • Generate service orders for test equipment failures (Production, Repair Areas) • Generate FAR Failure Analysis Reports (FAR). • Attend internal or external audits conducted in the area. • Analyze and repair test equipment failures (Test Engineering Area) • Perform preventive maintenance on test equipment (Test Engineering Area) • Generate flying probe and PMA programs. (Test Engineering Area) • Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, following the procedures and instructions applicable to their activities. • Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for participation in the established Objectives and Goals.
