Job Summary
The Electrical Service Line Manager, Midwest is responsible for leading and optimizing Loenbro's electrical workforce across the Midwest region. This senior leadership role focuses on labor efficiency, workforce development, recruiting, training, workforce deployment, and operational decision-making to support sustainable regional growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in stabilizing and localizing Loenbro's electrical workforce while helping build a long-term presence throughout Iowa and the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of the Service Line, providing support to Project leadership as necessary in addressing issues related to cost, quality, planning, or customer concerns.
- Oversee recruiting, dispatching and management of all craft employees, including general superintendents, site superintendents, area superintendents, general foreman, foreman, and all craft specific to the assigned Service Line (e.g. Critical Electrical would Include Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians, Control Techs, etc.)
- Understand competency management of all trades within the applicable Service Line scopes of work in order to maximize in-house personnel.
- Support estimating effort through bid reviews and constructibility reviews, including review of activity productions, crew makeup, equipment selection and cost analysis.
- Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
- Ensure craft management staff are appropriately coordinating all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project Management staff and other Loenbro resources to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of projects.
- Teach Craft Supervision how to generate and manage a 3 week and 6 week look ahead schedule to ensure manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and all resources are scheduled appropriately.
- Assures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.
- Knowledge of national and local code requirements relevant to this discipline
- Visit sites regularly during construction — including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, punch walks, and closeouts — and attend status and coordination meetings, following Loenbro's standard project review cadence.
- Ensures that all employees within the department receive the proper training required in order for them to operate the equipment or installation of the associated scope.
- Participates in review of job costs and overall performance with a particular focus on production
- Supports planning of on-the-job training to team members to ensure safety and quality of the work being done. Timely review of job sites for safety and quality of the work.
- Work closely with all areas of the operations to create new opportunities for Loenbro.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction of industrial projects, with a minimum of 5 years as a foreman and 5 years as a superintendent.
- Experience managing projects with multiple crews and at least 500 craft employees
- Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
- Proficient with Industry standard Job Costing System, Including payroll and quantity entry
- Understanding of Industry standard scheduling software and reports
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Manufacturing and Industrial environments
- Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels
- Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
- Exposure to areas with limited visibility
- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds
- If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.

- Possible use of respirator if position requires
- Driving, if required to travel
- Expect travel within the region regularly
