You provide compelling insights and engage with customers and key account teams. You identify and track category opportunities that support growth or defend risk and apply your insights for category, shopper, and consumer metrics when analyzing and translating data sources.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Responsible for the development and execution of selling programs related to their assigned Category's innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotional plans
- Key linkage between the Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and the Category Innovation, Marketing and Equity teams to ensure that our strategies and tactics are aligned to the needs of our Customers
- Responsible for building category and customer plans for the assigned Category, working collaboratively with Category teams, Insights, and Customer Business Teams (CBTs)
- Be seen as the Category expert internally and create compelling, actionable & measurable category plans
- Provide thought leadership internally & externally around brand & category initiatives (promotional strategy / budget planning)
- Leading delivery of category dashboard / fundamentals and recommending corrective actions to ensure targets are met
- Ongoing assessment of critical baseline volume opportunities / risks and lead initiatives to optimize category performance

Lead and accelerate the ecommerce strategy across key retail partners, driving profitable online revenue growth for Mondelēz brands. This role acts as the bridge between commercial, marketing, and digital teams to ensure best-in-class execution on retailer digital shelves and omnichannel environments
What you need to know about this position:
- Develop and execute the ecommerce commercial plan across priority retailer platforms (e.g., Walmart, Chedraui, Soriana, Amazon Retail, Mercado Libre, Cornershop, Rappi).
- Define and manage Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with retail partners for the digital channel.
- Own the relationship with retailer ecommerce teams, negotiating visibility, promotions, and digital activations.
- Ensure optimal product content, images, pricing, and availability across all retailer platforms (digital shelf excellence).
- Track and analyze ecommerce performance metrics: traffic, conversion, average order value, share of digital shelf, and ROI on digital investments.
- Leverage data and insights tools (e.g., Nielsen, Profitero, Stackline, retailer analytics) to identify growth opportunities and course-correct.
- Partner with Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align ecommerce plans with broader commercial and brand strategies.
- Collaborate with Shopper Marketing to develop digital-first shopper activations.
- Identify and pilot new digital commerce capabilities (retail media, live commerce, social commerce integrations).
- Share best practices across markets and contribute to the regional ecommerce playbook
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA or postgraduate studies in Digital Business / Ecommerce (preferred).
Job specific requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, or key account management with a strong digital component.
- Proven track record managing ecommerce operations with major retailers (brick-and-click and pure players).
- Experience in the CPG / FMCG industry strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with retail media networks and digital trade investment
- Proficiency in ecommerce analytics platforms (Profitero, Stackline, Comercia, or similar).
- Strong command of retailer portals and advertising platforms (Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, Mercado Ads, etc.).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM principles applied to retail search.
