What will your job look like?

MTM Transit in partnership with Sabino Canyon is looking for Full-Time Shuttle Driver / Tour Driver to join our team. We currently have training classes that start every week.

What You’ll Need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. Driver's License for the past 3 years
• Possess valid authorization to work in the State of Arizona and the United States
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle Record check
• No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 10 years
• No Reckless driving in the past 5 years
• In the event that your license has been previously revoked, you must have at least 3 full subsequent years post reinstatement with no violations
• Schedule flexibility: Looking for individuals who are available 7 days a week between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Skills:

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic device
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to communicate with others and comprehend instructions
• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedules
• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulations
• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate the Sabino Canyon Crawler along designated routes
• Transport guests safely and efficiently throughout Sabino Canyon
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to guests
• Welcome passengers and assist with boarding and exiting the vehicle
• Provide information about Sabino Canyon, points of interest, and the surrounding area
• Answer guest questions and assist visitors with general information
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming vehicle
• Conduct required safety checks before and during operation
• Follow all company, transportation, and safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members
• Assist guests with special needs when appropriate and within company guidelines
• Remain professional and courteous while handling a variety of customer situations
• Report vehicle or safety concerns promptly
